So I’ve been sitting here for a couple of hours now, trying to come up with something for today’s strip. Two hours later am still staring at a blank sheet of paper. It’s a weird feeling not being able to rise up to the occasion. This has never happened to me before… (Gerrit? đ I know, I’m a perv. My life is sad đŚ )
Anywho, I guess this means there won’t be an H&L today. Am sorry guys, I’ve got nothing. I’m going through a bad case of creative block, and I’m pretty proud of myself for being able to admit that. I hope tomorrow will be better.
In case anyone out there has an awesome idea about an H&L, please share it with me and I’ll make a strip about it. I’ll be sure to give you the credit for your idea too. Wouldn’t that be awesome? đ
Anyway, until then, stay awesome, people!
(I wanted to put up the peace sign but I don’t know how. Instead just imagine me punching the air and freeze that frame. Think Breakfast Club. Yeah.)

Personally, I would find the pressure of having to make/post a comic strip on a daily basis over-whelming (not to mention having to find the time to do that). Maybe you should consider a schedule? Like, for example, I post a comic strip once a week, and sketchbook pics every other day of the week, or you could post a strip every other day (mon, Wed, fri, for example)? Hope this helps ^>^

New subscriber here. I thought this was like an episodic series. Guess I was wrong. So it’s just the same characters in different situations. Why don’t you create a BIG story. Make it seasonal. By this I mean 12 comics represent one season and so forth. Trying to think of something new everyday will be crazy. TV shows are usually weekly. Like the other commenter suggested come up with a schedule. But make it a bigger story. Where one comic ends another begins.

Mhmmm. I like that idea. I’m currently working on something like that: building their characters then coming up with one huge continuous story. I’m also trying to make sure the strips still work when read alone, so that’s the challenging part. But in the end, continuity is the most important thing, so you are definitely right. I’ll make it all a bigger story. Thanks Har+new đ

Also, if you can draw your strips far ahead of time, there’s a thingy on WordPress that lets you decide what time and date you want your strips. That way, you can arrange them how you want.

I would like a comic on Henry’s love life, now that we’ve seen #16 and #11 on Lee’s relationship life. Does Henry even have a love life?
